Cooler Master Hyper 212X

The model is with dimensions of 120 x 79 x 158 mm including the fan and overall weight of 492grams.

Cooler Master Hyper 212X is made of  4 x ø6mm copper heatpipes with the same patented CDC heatpipe array as Hyper 212 Evo transfering the heat to the redesigned fins array and fan which have both been optimized to create micro vortices that boost the airflow and circulate it around the heatpipes.

According to Cooler Master, the fan used to keep the system running smoothly is actually a brand new model with dimensions 120 x 120 x 25 mm, working with 600 – 2,000 (PWM) ± 10% revolutions per minute, providing airflow level of 24.9 – 82.9 CFM ± 10% and static pressure of 0. 3 – 2.09 mm H2O ± 10% at only 9 – 36 dBA. The new fan offers the new smart engine which prevent the propeller from breaking if it is blocked and restarts the fan when the block is cleared.

It’s an excellent aftermarket cooler, even with brackets for adding second fan and further boosting the performance. I have one of the “older” version (212 Evo) at home and it is awesome, especially for it’s price 🙂
