Cougar MX300 is a case made of entirely painted in black SECC material, combined with front and top mesh parts with overall dimensions of 195(W)x450(H)x490(D) mm. The model is suitable to be used with motherboards according to the Micro ATX / ATX standards, a standard PSU installed on the bottom of the case and offers the option to be used with up to 7 expansion slots.


Cougar MX300 is supplied with 2 exposed x 5.25″ drive bays, 1 ( Ext ) / 3 ( int ) 3.5″ drive bays and 3 hidden 2.5″ drive bays. All of the USB 3.0 x 1 ( int )/USB2.0 x 1, Mic x 1, Audio x 1 I/O ports are located on the top side of the front panel, above the mesh panel.

Cooling system of Cougar MX300


The cooling system for the product is done by up to 7 fans which could be:

  1. 2 x 120mm fans installed on the front panel behind the mesh
  2. 2 x 120mm fans installed on the top part beneath a dust filter
  3. 2 x 120mm fans installed on the side panel
  4. 1 x 120mm fan installed on the rear panel


According to Cougar, this case offers air filters with magnets on the bottom, top and front of the case to prevent dust from entering the enclosure and can be used with graphic cards with maximum length of 310 mm.
