SpeedToouch 6 is the first touch sensitive fan controller by Gelid Solutions and not only is it touch sensitive, it also has large capacity so it only needs but a slight touch of you finger to register the command. It is made from aluminium alloy and has black paint. The display’s backlight is blue with three brightness settings that you can choose from. It shows you all the necessary information about your fans speed and temperature modules – you have six included temperature sensors in the package contents.
The dimensions of this fan controller unit are 149mm (W) x 42mm (H) x 70mm (D) so it easily fits in your case’s 5.25″ drive bay. The display is 113mm (W) x 26mm (H) so you can clearly distinguish the information displayed on it.
The length of the fan cables that come with SpeedTouch 6 is 600mm.
Each channel of this fan controller supports up to 30 watts.
For the technical specifications Gelid Solutions also says that you have both automatic or manual control feature on every fan port. In manual mode you are able to go from a minimum of 5 volts to a maximum of 12 volts on each channel. In automatic control the device operates voltages from 6.5V (25C or below) to 12V (50C or above), that is if you have the temperature sensors installed on each corresponding channel. The supported working temperature levels are from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, both Celsius and Fahrenheit available for display (the display can show temperatures from 0 to 100 degrees). SpeedTouch 6 is powered by one 4 pin molex connnector, but for now there is no minimum PSU requirement information available.
