Noctua Chromax line fans,Cables and Heatsink covers

During their press conference on the 16th of October, Noctua presented their new line  of cosmetic accessories and changes to their award winning CPU coolers.  Chromax lol xd.

As Noctua CEO Roland Mossig said:

“Noctua is an engineering-driven company: we pride ourselves on relentlessly tuning our products for maximum performance and quality rather than putting form before function, but of course we understand that many customers put an emphasis on build aesthetics these days,”

Using that mindset, Noctua set out to make the new Chromax editions of the NH-U12s and NH-D15. Further more they designed rubber anti-vibration pads, new heatsink covers and even a new line of colourful cables.

On that note lets see whats in stock:

The Chromax fans and their accesories

The new Chromax update applies to all NF-A15, NF-A14, NF-F12 and NF-S12A. These award winning CPU coolers now have a new colour -black. Not only that, the come along with some new rubber paddings designed to absorb vibration and to add life to the dark colour. The chromax.black.swap come in 6 different colours: red, white, blue, green, yellow and black. Likewise, new heat sink covers were announced. These come in two colours, black and white. While sounding rather disappointing, they are designed with colour in mind. Offering a mini tray,  where you can insert your swappable inlay of choice.  Of course the inlays come included with the heat sinks and Noctua is allowing you to chose from black, white, red, blue, green and yellow when swapping them.

Last but not least are the extension cables. The extension cables creatively named NA-SEC1 and NA-SYC1 y-cable are offering an interesting proposal. They arrive in a dark sleek colour, but that’s not all. With are included some 6 cable sleeves offering the same, renowned colour selections. (red, blue, green, yellow, black and white ). These cable fully support the new Chromax editions of the previously refereed to fans. Uniquely each cable has its own advantage. The NA-SEC1 offers a length of 30cm, while the NA-SYC1 y cable has the ability to power two 4-pin PWM fans on a single fan header and lets the motherboard control the two fans separately.

The new products from  Noctua are a mouthful when it comes to potraing them. But lets not forget, that after all price is a factor when buying something.
