Thermaltake Riing Series Fans

What is Riing…and why the double “i”? I don’t really have an answer to the second part of the question, however Riing means that several special features are present in these fans.

First there is the in-mold injection anti-vibration rubber pads that provide insulation between the plastic fan frame and the surface it is mounted on (radiator, chassis). Less noise is always good.

Then there is the LED inner ring, that serves two purposes – a visual one and performance booster. The LED ring is evenly illuminated and looks quite beautiful, especially if you can afford to upgrade all of your fans to Thermaltake Riing.

Wind Blocker Frame is actually the second purpose of the LED ring. What is does is to better distribute and channel the air through the frame, allowing for more static pressure and concentrated airflow. Those figures matter most if the fan is mounted on a radiator as performance there is crucial for optimal cooling.

Hydraulic bearing is also featured in these fans to improve lifespan and provide better overall performance. Concentrated Compression Blade (CCB) is used so that the inner weaker circle of air is redirected outwards so it could be compressed and pressurized. This also adds up to the overall performance provided by the Thermaltake Riing fan series.

Now that we’ve discussed the technology behind them, let’s see the technical specifications.

Riing series come in 4 different color options – blue, red, white, and green, so you can match the color with our other hardware. The series include fans with frame size of 120mm and 140mm as well.
