Zalman H1 front

Made from steel and plastic, with dimensions of 237(W) x 551(H) x 569(D)mm, Zalman H1 goes to the full tower segment of chassis, offered from the company. The case is painted in black, both internally and externally with a look that resembles brushed metal, thus giving the chassis luxurious and more premium look and feel. Zalman  H1 also comes equipped with a windowed side panel for visual boost.

Zalman H1Interior-wise Zalman H1 can accommodate motherboards like Standard ATX, Mini-ITX, Micro ATX, BTX and E-ATX and has 9 PCI slots available. Storage compatibility is presented by tool-less design brackets featuring rubber pads for vibration absorption. A total of seven 3.5″/2.5″ drive slots and three 5.25″ bays are at your disposal. One of the bays is compatible with 5.25″, 3.5″ and 2.5″ drives. HDD cage is partially modular, but if you decide not to remove it GPU compatibility is limited to 360mm in length.

ZALMAN H1 COOLING SYSTEM

The cooling capabilities are the highlight of this case as it is features AHV cooling system. What this system does is to automatically control the temperature state inside the chassis with opening/closing top and front panels, depending on the temperature level at a given moment.  Of course, there is a Manual mode if you like to control the temperature and noise level by yourself. In the core of the AHV system lies a good amount of fans:

  • Top  – 120mm Fan Vent x 2 (2 Fan included)
  • Rear – 120mm Fan Vent x 1 (1 Fan included)
  • Front – 200mm LED Fan x 1 (1 Blue LED Fan included)
  • Cooling Kit – 120mm Additional Fan x 1 (1 Fan optional (Internal))

All the fans are controlled by an integrated fan controller unit, placed on the top panel and is able to control two channels simultaneously. For lower dust build up inside the case, Zalman H1 comes with multiple dust filters preinstalled. On the top panel you can find headphones and mic jacks, USB 2.0 x 2, USB 3.0 x 2 and a temperature display.
