Computex 2018: SilverStone

For the past few years, the guys from SilverStone kinda switched their focus and started announcing a lot of products such as Raid Controllers, various PCIe adapters and tons of accessories but still we are able to see a lot of new cases, fans and power supplies at their booth part of Computex 2018.

With the start of this year’s Computex show we are able to see a booth full of already introduced models, accompanied by several brand new cases bearing the names LD02 and LD03, part of the recently announced LUCID series. LD02 offers a pretty modest design, while LD03 is definitely a real eye catcher. Regarding their technical details, there isn’t much information but I believe they will be introduced worldwide pretty soon.

On the other hand, the other shelves are full of very well known cases such as RL07 part of the Redline Series, PM01 and PM02 part of the Primera Series and many others from various series, which looks pretty stylish.

Of course, the booth also includes their latest small form factor CPU coolers such as AR11 part of the Argon series and the very attractive RGB accessories such as FG141. Definitely, the most attractive products around the Raven RVZ03B case are the recently announced brand new RGB fans AP124-ARGB and AP142-ARGB part of the Air Penetrator series. Of course, the latest arrivals to the FW Series aka FW123-RGB and FW142-RGB are also there.

The RGB accessories and the latest recruits to the AP and FW series look just amazing with the wide range of color options combined with very aggressive design and technical features.

And since SilverStone is a very well known PSU brand, there is a wide range of models part of the company portfolio with various sizes and power capabilities. Of course, the focus of the booth is the Essential Series featuring a lot of half modular power supply units rated with a Gold certificate.

And last but not least the shelves related to the storage products and PCIe cards are definitely full offering products with various sizes and capabilities. We are able to see several RAID controllers, M2 adapters, LAN adapters, SFF adapters and many more.

The storage solutions are even more colorful with a lot of options starting from external HDD cases for 1HDD or SSD drive up to storage solutions with hot-swap of up to 8 HDD or SSD drives.

We can certainly conclude that there are a lot of products presented on SilverStone’s booth this year, so it will be curious to see even more products by end of the exhibition.
