PANGU is a Medium tower case constructed from steel along with plastic elements in the design, which have a nice, quality rubber coating finish. It weighs 7.5 kg. and has dimensions of 498 x 205 x 477 mm. It has simple, yet elegant design that is accompanied by some blue led lights along with blue mesh grill stripes from the front all the way to the back top of the case. Both the outside and the inside the case are coloured in black, although in the Deepcool site you can see a white version, again with two blue stripes, which looks amazing – not specified if it is actually being produced at the moment.
It supports ATX and Micro-ATX motherboards, bottom mounted PSU and up to 7 fans – all 120mm, three blue LED fans are pre-installed for you out of the box. You can add additional fans to the corresponding slots:
- 2 x 120mm at the front (included)
- 1 x 120mm at the bottom (optional)
- 1 x 120mm at the rear (included)
- 2 x 120mm at the top (optional) (also supports 240mm water cooling radiator, rubber grommets on the back of the case)
- 1 x 120mm at the optical drive bays with an included bracket that rotates 180 degrees allowing for directional airflow where you desire it.
On the front and top panel you have metal grills that act as dust filters – they pop up when pressed and allow for easy cleaning.
As for expandability, PANGU has 7 PCI-e slots, two 5.25″ drive bays and room for six 3.5″ or 2.5″ drives along with GPUs up to 400mm in length (after removing the HDD cage). All drive bays feature tool free design that ensures fast and easy installation of hardware (not supported for 2.5″ drives).
At the top of the case you’ll find your two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports and 2 x 3.5mm audio jacks.
