Scythe Grand Kama Cross 3 is designed as a very interesting structure according to the X-Struktur design made to support mounting of large heatsink memory modules or large VRM / chipset-heatsinks without interference with the radiator and at the same time to provide simultaneous cooling for these CPU surrounding components.
The cooler itself is made of nickel-plated copper contact plate, 2 x Ø6mm and 2 Ø8mm nickel coated copper heatpipes transferring the heat to the 2 x aluminum fin stacks which are mounted with a very interesting angle according to the contact plate. All of the parts together are forming a heatsink with dimensions of 171 x 147 x 140 mm and overall weight of 790 g including the fan.
Scythe Grand Kama Cross 3 is equipped with 140 x 140 x 25 mm GlideStream 140 PWM fan made to work at 400 (±300) ~ 1.300 (±10%) revolution per minute range 4-pin PWM powered and regulated, providing airflow level range of 50.79 ~ 165.08 m³/h, static level pressure of 0.10 ~ 1.02 mmH²O at noise level range of 12.5 ~ 30.7 dBA.
According to Scythe, the cooler is compatible with:
- Intel: LGA775, LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366 and LGA2011 / 2011-v3 sockets
- AMD: Socket AM2, Socket AM2+, Socket AM3, Socket AM3+, FM1, FM2, FM12 sockets.
