Brutus M25 is a new addition to SilentiumPC’s chassis products, featuring the famous Pure Black paint color scheme as well as competitive price/features ratio. Design-wise, the case follows other SilentiumPC visuals, offering clean, elegant look with side panels sticking out a bit, completing the exterior view. The case measures at 462(H) x 445(L) x 197(W) mm and 4.2 kg. of weight. While being compact mid-tower, inside M25 you can fit mATX / ATX motherboards along with standard ATX PSU.
Expansion slots are kept to the acceptable mid-tower specifications – seven in total. Drive bays, offered by M25 are three 5.25″ external and three 3.5″/2.5″ internal storage mounts plus one, dedicated 2.5″ drive bay.
One of the many key features M25 offers is the component compatibility. CPU tower coolers with 158mm in height are supported, as well as GPU’s up to 320mm on the first PCI slot, 280mm on the second PCI slot.
SilentiumPC Brutus M25 Pure Black Cooling System
M25 could house up to five fans for reasonable cooling performance. All of the fans are 120mm with no option to install bigger ones.
- Front: 2 x 120mm fans (1 x 1200rpm included + 1x optional)
- Rear: 1 x 120mm fan included (1200rpm)
- Top: 2 x 120mm fans (optional)
The fans are controlled by an integrated fan controller (up to five fans) with Low, Mid, High setting, located on the front panel. Next to the controller you will find a card reader, one docking station for 3.5″/2.5″ drive, audio jacks, one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports and power/reset switch.
